Who we are
Space Athlete is a new gymnastics club at the edge of Walsall. The Club is located at the Heart of the Pheasey community, inside Beacon Church. Space Athlete promotes individuality. Every child strives to be at their best and has a positive mindset to work hard and excel. Our coaches have many years of experience, are fully-enhanced DBS checked and first-aid trained. We provide fun gymnastics to encourage physical and social development, where children learn new skills and build confidence.
Programs
Children Aged 4 & 5 years
Wednesday 4-5pm
This session is a recreational gymnastics session. It is structured around fun and fitness, aiming to introduce children to gymnastics in a safe environment. Children are led by coaches to explore, learn and experience fundamental movements, such as running, jumping, leaping and rolling. Taught in small groups, the gymnasts will have the opportunity to use a variety of equipment including floor, bars, beam, vault and air-track. Each session begins with a warm-up, followed by equipment time and a cool down.
Children Aged 6-14 Years
Wednesday 4:30-6:30 pm
Thursday 4:30-6:30 pm
More experienced gymnasts will have the opportunity to further their gymnastics skills in a safe and fun environment. Each session begins with a warm-up and stretch, followed by equipment time and conditioning training.
Children Aged 12-16 years
Wednesday 6-8pm (TBC)
